I shoot a lot of events for my school newspaper, The Keystone.  Usually, I get lucky and will be able to shoot in quality available light or a brightly lit indoor event.  Recently, most of the events I have shot have been indoors, in a theater.  The dramatic lightning used during these

I was about to go to bed last night when I saw the bright flashes of lightning through my window.  I grabbed my camera and rushed outside.I wanted to grab some lightning shots when I realized I did not have my tripod up at school with me.  The storm was just too good to pass up so I improvised.

During my visit to Philadelphia this summer I visited the Eastern State Penitentiary on the outskirts of the city. Walking up the ancient looking prison set against the facade of Philadelphia was surreal. It is hard to believe that something so large and so old still stands in the city. For

I attended my friend’s band, Sons of Red, this past Friday and I must say…they put on a good show. I’ve seen them twice now and if they keep it up, I might just be photographing a world famous band soon! I took some photos for them to help them promote themselves, enjoy.

Here are some of my shots from the NASCAR race yesterday. It was my first time shooting NASCAR (as a press photographer for that matter). It was a very emotional race for Denny Hamlin (11 – FedEx) who took the checkered flag after a yellow-checker restart on the last lap. There were a few
